I am a dedicated classroom teacher looking for a full time teaching position. I am currently working with York County School Division at Mt. Vernon Elementary School as a Special Education Para Educator. Before working at Mt. Vernon Elementary School I worked at The Goddard School in Yorktown, VA as a Lead Teacher. While working at The Goddard School I recieved a lot of experience with classroom management and creating and implementing lesson plans. Prior to working at The Goddard School I worked at Berlin Township School District in West Berlin, NJ as a Pre-School Assistant Teacher. While working at Berlin Twp School District I was the coordinator for the Labels for Education Fundraiser and I also helped with many other school fundraisers, as well as volunteered with many after school activites. I also had the pleasure of creating and implementing lessons with small group instruction within the classroom.
I earned my Bachelors in Education with an Endorsement in Special Education and a Bachelors in Mathematics from Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ in 2008. Prior to transfering to Rowan University I attended Camden County College in Blackwood, NJ where I earned 64 credits in Education and Mathematics. I currently hold teaching licenses in Virginia, Pensylvania, and New Jersey.
